The Lifestyle Change Of An Alzheimer’s Person: Rhetorical Analysis Essay

Introduction:

Have we ever thought of those who have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, is there a different lifestyle they need to change for the disease to not advance? Is there any type of treatment and if not will they develop one soon? This topic has caught my interest for quite a while, making me think why is it that people start having memory loss at such an age. People around the age of 60 start having dementia where they forget people, or things, or who even they are, including their families. There are many cases of people who have this and they need to be in special care because they aren’t able to do things themselves. There still hasn’t been any type of permanent treatment for this disease but maybe if they are able to change their lifestyle it will help them not develop it further. Through my writing and the help of the article called “Physical exercise in the prevention and treatment of Alzheimer’s treatment” published by Elsevier B.V in the year of 2020 talks about the possible treatments they can do to help the brain of the people.

Rhetorical Analysis:

This article states how there is a possible way that they can slow the process of Alzheimer’s by the help of doing physical exercise. Doing exercise is quite a good help because it can help with one’s mental health as w ell, when they are active they are helping the brain. Since they have done experiments on some couple of people they were able to prove how it slowed the process.

The author of this article that i chose is many but the one who published this was Elsevier B.V. but there were many more who contributed to it, they wanted to try to communicate with the reader’s.

The intended audience that the article is trying to get is for any people who is older than sixty years old and is diagnosed with dementia which leads to Alzheimer’s about a different lifestyle they can have. Many people suffer with this problem so they are trying to get to them and explain. This can also be directed towards the families who have family members like this and that cares about them and can show them about this writing.

The tone of this article is informative and formal, giving the readers information and trying to teach them that doing physical exercise is an important thing in our lives. When we do exercise it starts circulating the blood all over our body. It also explains the relationship between the brain and physical movements.

The purpose of the article is to share an important factor of dementia: how a lot of older people get diagnosed with this. They are able to show us evidence of how they did a group of people who don’t exercise a lot vs people who exercise and are active. Which resulted in people who are doing exercise have a slower growth of memory loss.

The form that this writing represents is a scientific article, that was published for those who are interested in their health. The way it was structured was that they had it written down in paragraphs, they would also have links you can press for: for more references on they got their analysis. They also included some graphs that they did from experiments and diagrams to help people understand. This article is also scholarly reviewed since it has been posted for people to look at when they do their research.

The attitude that the author wrote with was that they wanted to prove their point so they wrote about. They also support that if they were to increase their physical activity there can be a big impact of change, it can be some type of treatment until they find one soon.

The language that this article was written in was with some terms of science because it was written from a research group who is studying health. So mostly this article can be helpful for doctors or anyone who is in the medfield. Though they do try to explain in terms of English that people that don’t know science can understand.

Conclusion:

In conclusion, throughout my writing we are able to see how exercise can be an important factor for people who are older and also everyone in general. Writing this rhetorical analysis and breaking it down by parts helps the reader get the point we are trying to reach. Showing evidence through the help of experiments makes people see and understand and get persuaded to do a change in their life, at the end of the day its going to end up being beneficial.
