The importance of doing Physical Activities 

            Many might wonder why is doing exercise so important in our daily life. What are some risks on it, and the benefits of doing exercise? People in this society normally don’t exercise for many reasons. Almost around 1.4 billion people get sick because they risk not working out at least one hour each day. Sometimes that ends up leading to people getting many types of sickness, the most common one is back pain, leg pain, and many more. Doing exercise not only is beneficial but it can expand humans’ life expectancy even more if they were to take care of themselves and worry about their health. 

            One of the most common chronic diseases that there is, is Diabetes. People are getting this disease mostly because it can be because of genes from their family if they have had this in the past. It can also be because they are overweight because their bodies are not active that much. According to the research from this article they did a test on 522 people, they had a control group and a test group. They realized that almost 40% of people who were watching TV only had a huge impact on their health. So, in this experiment they are hoping to see if working out will lower the rise of people still having diabetes. In this article it states that, “The behavioral outcomes showed that 74% achieved their PA goal in one year, and also achieved their weight loss goal of around 7% (weight loss of about 7 kg). There was a 58% reduction in the incidence of diabetes in the intensive lifestyle intervention group and a 31% reduction in the Metformin group, compared with controls “.(Bauman AE) This shows to prove that doing exercise and losing weight lowers the risk of them getting any type of diabetes and are hoping to see if people will start doing them like them there will be a reduction of people becoming sick. 

            Another most common factor that is due to the risk of not doing exercise is muscle pain. This mostly correlates more to people who are in their middle age, they get diagnosed most with a lot of pain. Their bones tend to become more fragile because they are not physically active; this is mostly called Osteoporosis. The researchers were hoping to see if a group of people were to at least stretch or move once in a while they would be able to still have strength. In the article it states that, “Therefore, one prevention focus should be to encourage vigorous weight-bearing PA among children and adolescents, during which period bone deposition occurs.In middle-aged and older people, resistance training and balance activities are encouraged to help maintain strength and balance and prevent falls and fractures”.(Bauman AE) Having a moment in your life when you are able to stretch will be so beneficial because there many people out there who just sit down instead of going for a run and walking which is much better. 

            There are multiple ways someone can be physically active and doing exercise, there are dances that some people were tested on some elderly people to see the increase in their health. Their physical and mental health is really important because they have more changes than you get people to do. They picked out a range between the ages 60-67 and they let them select the type of dance they wanted to do as a group and tested their results. They were also tested on some physical assessment. In the article it states that, “Regular physical activity is considered one of the most important factors for lifestyle, for maintaining good health in older ages and increasing life expectancy. Dance is considered an activity that involves coordinating movements with music, as well as brain activation because it is constantly necessary to learn and remember new steps. Dance as a musical-kinetics skill, requires the coordination of body movements with rhythmic stimuli, developing the adaptability of the movement “. (Douka S) The experiment that they did ended up concluding that they will have a longer life and they are still going to be able to do so many things. Due to the fact that they are using their brain to remember the dances they are doing, while at the same time they are moving their body. 

In conclusion, there are many reasons why to exercise. There are so many benefits you get out of it, and there are ways you can have fun with other people so it wouldn’t be that boring. From all those three articles they all conclude how exercising at least once a day can help you with your well being and maintain health. You get to have a longer life to live if you do your best. This can be a way to avoid having any type of diseases because there is a big amount of causes of many people dying of any type of problems.
